The mansion was the home of Benjamin and Helen Edwards and was for many years the center of Springfield’s social and political life.

project in Edwards Place began in the fall of 2008.  Jim Edwards approached the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1"&gt;SAA&lt;/span&gt; about a project in the home that would be completed in memory of his wife, Julia.
